After years of work, I am excited to release my debut self-released album "it's all love, it always has been". The overarching idea of this album stems from looking back at the past and realizing that the only reason I am still here and doing well is all the love that has been shared with me over the years. Whether it be paternal, familial, platonic, or romantic; love is the most powerful and driving force in my life. This album is a love letter to those that I love and the music that I love.

Musically, the inspirations are very broad. Starting with records that have been pitch manipulated on my turntables, recorded into my octatrack sampler, where the majority of each song is created. The physical pitch manipulation means that most of these songs are microtonal and I had to tune all of my instrumentation to the main sample. The records that are sampled include prog rock, psych, mpb, soul, early synthesizer compositions, soundtracks, R&B, and more. I then added synths, drum machines, and hand percussion instruments on top of the samples as needed.

This one is dedicated to my dad who passed in early April in the midst of the creation of this album. He is the reason I am a music lover, producer, musician, and DJ, and I know he would be proud of this body of work.
